The Sisterhood of St. Sophia
Mission Statement
The mission of the Sisterhood of St. Sophia is to assist the church in its programs and activities, to assist organizations of the Orthodox Faith and in the community, and to fulfill the commandment “to love one’s neighbor as one’s self.” (Mark 12:31)
The Sisterhood works to raise money for these purposes through various fundraisers, which include, but are not limited to, making and selling soup and pierogi. Our goal is to improve our church and community, and to increase our own faith in Christ.
